Colour Matching

Colour matching is one of the biggest challenges in the printing and embroidery industry. We always aim to reproduce colours as closely as possible. However, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

Screen Colours vs Printed Colours

Please be aware that colours shown on your phone, tablet or computer screen may look different when printed or embroidered.

Screens display colours using RGB light, while printing uses inks or pigments. These systems produce colours differently, which means some colours visible on a screen cannot be reproduced exactly in print.

Colours may also appear different depending on screen brightness, display settings, monitor calibration and lighting conditions.

Garments & Materials Can Affect Colour

The final colour may vary depending on:

• Fabric or material
• Garment colour
• Printing method
• Ink and printing process
• Embroidery thread availability
• Artwork and colour profile
• Screen or monitor settings
• Lighting and viewing conditions

The same artwork may therefore look different when applied to different products, materials or using different printing methods.

Brand Colours & Specific Colour Requirements

If you have a specific brand colour or colour requirement, please let us know before production begins.

Where possible, please provide a recognised colour reference, such as a Pantone colour. We will aim to achieve the closest possible match using the selected product and printing method.

Please note that providing a Pantone or other colour reference does not guarantee an exact match. Different materials, inks, printing processes and embroidery threads can produce different results.

Mockups & Digital Proofs

Digital mockups are provided to show the approximate design, size and positioning of your artwork.

Colours shown on digital mockups are for visual reference only and should not be considered an exact representation of the final printed or embroidered colour.

We cannot produce physical samples solely for colour-matching purposes. If colour is important to your order, please discuss your requirements with us before production.

Colour Variation

We take reasonable care to achieve the closest possible colour result. However, reasonable colour variations may occur between:

• The original artwork and finished product
• Screen previews and printed products
• Different garments or materials
• Different printing methods
• Printing and embroidery
• Separate production runs

By approving the artwork or proceeding with an order, you acknowledge and accept that reasonable colour variations may occur and that an exact colour match cannot be guaranteed.
